The project I completed in T&T focused on enhancing the interaction and connectivity between the social and physical worlds within the city. The city is shaped by economic disparities, where not everyone enjoys the full benefits of citizenship. For many, the basic necessities—such as food, transportation, and decent housing—are out of reach. As a result, a significant portion of the population is forced to establish their homes on the city's periphery, where they can secure employment while still providing for their families. This project explored how the city's true life begins in these overlooked areas, challenging the notion that the city ends where its outskirts begin.
A special thanks to the Melville family in Scarborough.
